Intelliconnect (Europe) Achieve 40% UK Sales Growth in 2015 and expects the same again in 2016
Intelliconnect (Europe) Ltd, the UK based specialist manufacturer of RF connectors and cable assemblies has achieved a 40% increase inUK orders during 2015 and confidently expects a further 40% growth in 2016.
This remarkable growth for a UK manufacturer is the result of continued investment in its core waterproof RF connector product range, its acquisition of a very successful cable assembly business and the relocation of all of its manufacturing to a new 3,000sq ft. facility in Corby, allowing its Chelmsford HQ to concentrate on sales and customer support.
Roy Phillips, Managing Director of Intelliconnect (Europe), comments, “We had an exceptional year for cable assemblies with a 63% increase in orders helping us to increase our 2015 UK sales by 30%. We are very confident our plans for future investment in products will lead to a 60% increase in UK orders in 2016.”
Intelliconnect greatly increased the breadth of their product offering during 2015 to include multi-pin cable assemblies, field replaceable SMA and 2.92mm plugs, and new low cost connector range and microwave components. Intelliconnect is now recognised as a major supplier of standard connectors in addition to their key strength of being able to turnaround custom designs in just 7 weeks.
New market penetration in industrial and SCADA systems, cryogenics and growth in medical markets have added to their sales while improved distribution has come on-stream and export markets including Israel, Turkey, Spain, Switzerland are growing.
Investment in infrastructure including the expected achievement the SC21 bronze award in 2016 has helped Intelliconnect achieve qualified supplier status with 2 major UK defence OEMs and the continued trend for re-shoring with a number customers prepared to pay a little more for quality demonstrated by measured results of 97.3% on time delivery by order Line and 99.5% quality rating by order line.
